blurred?!

As if life is a bookshop, music store or filing cabinet, we've learned to make a distinction between sacred and secular. Drawing distinct compartments like these, rob us of an integrated life. This way our faith (whatever you may believe) remains an intellectual exercise in self-fulfilment. I believe that a blur exists: a place where you can't label things into either category. This blurred space is where life happens...but where those living it are learning to see everything as sacred. Not in an airy-fairy way. Real, tangible, mysterious, whole, beautiful, just, celebrated...
